EXPERIENCE:
Jorge Isidoro has forty years of experience advising national and international companies on various Labor and Occupational Safety and Health issues. As well as having a long history serving government organizations to perform with the best decisions based on the legal framework of their operations.
His professional career has allowed him to advise Business Associations, and coordinate the Labor Committee of the Business Leadership of the country for more than ten years, analyzing, observing and preparing draft laws to contribute to the development of issues of national interest. Likewise, he has advised various companies on Corporate matters, Business Structuring, Financing, Internal Policy Management, Development of Energy Projects, Concentrations of Telecommunication Companies, Real Estate and Construction Projects.
He has worked as a professor at the Doctor José Matías Delgado University for more than twenty years, as well as a thesis and private examiner at said university, having been its Attorney General.
Throughout his professional career and with the desire to serve his country, he served as Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, for five years from June 1999 to May 2004. Having achieved for the first time that El Salvador became a member of the Administrative Council of the International Labor Organization (ILO). Likewise, he was proposed by the countries of America to be a member of the ILO Committee on Freedom of Association for five years.
Later, he was appointed General Superintendent of Electricity and Telecommunications for three years from 2004 to 2007 and President of the Regional Commission for Electric Interconnection in (CRIE) for a period of two years, which allowed him to participate in the drafting and elaboration of regulations of the commercialization of energy at the regional level. In the telecommunications area, he had the opportunity to work at the regional level as Vice President of the Regional Telecommunications Technical Commission (CONTELCA).
From mid-2007 to May 2009, he served as Minister of Public Works, Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, which allowed him to develop a social work to improve the lives of many Salvadorans and at the same time acquire extensive experience in public administration.
He has been part of various Non-Profit Foundations, which have allowed him to contribute in different social areas to improve the quality of life through education and training of children and young people, as well as to promote constitutional reforms in defense of Life from the beginning of its conception.
